Armenian fruits and vegetables have, in fact, been exported to more than 25 countries through various programs, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan told reporters when asked which countries import Armenian produce.

"By and large, we, as the Government, have fulfilled our task. If you remember, there were media reports predicting how many apricots would end up rotting on the ground or how many peaches would be left unharvested. But, as far as I know, no apricots were left lying on the ground," he said.

Responding to the observation that this year's apricot harvest was smaller and that tomatoes and flowers had not been exported, Papoyan said:

"The tomatoes have not been left to spoil. They are being procured, sold, and exported as well," the Minister of Economy emphasized.
